What a year

Well, there's been no shortage of drama here. We have had E.Coli, 3 bouts of kidney stones, 2 more bouts of food poisoning, abscessed teeth, the flu, and all the other usual stuff not to mention surgery soon. The year is three-quarters over and we still haven't been placed with the kids. Not a fun year to remember and as well the economy has been the worst ever, fortunately though no hurricanes to post and talk about YET.

It's that season here again and Halloween is coming right around the corner. The girls are begging me for Halloween totes, well, cute Halloween totes so I should have some up and for sale here shortly. I will be working on those this weekend. There is so much to blog about with homeschooling, autism, our illnesses, adoption you name it we pretty much are dealing with it. I hope you all had a great summer and we look forward to the end of 'this' year!

What a year!

We have been making some changes here at big-sister-shirts.com. This year has seen some big ups and downs, with the economy and all. Here on the homefront we are adopting 3 new children and life has been busy. I've been thinking that we should add an adoption category (it's fitting and all) but how cool is that? Our kiddos are older, but that doesn't mean that we can't all have cool shirts to celebrate with. So to mark our great addition we will be adding our new adoption category in June. This is my favorite time of year. The seasons are changing and the weather is turning cool, here in the south we get to worry about hurricanes and Halloween is right around the corner. Halloween isn't what it used to be when I was growing up. Everything has changed now and more and more people are banning the 'Halloween' dress up and fun and going towards the fall festival theme. But we still get to have the same fun with fall festival it just comes without the scary stuff! So keep your eye on the site and we will be adding in a bunch of fun and new exciting things!
